Terry Elliott | Partner | CPA, CA

Terry was born and raised in New Liskeard. After completing his degree at University of Waterloo, he achieved his CA while working at Kemp Elliott & Blair, Johnston & Sproat and Deloitte Haskins & Sells. After returning to the north he became a partner of the firm in 1989. He and his staff provide accounting, auditing, computerized bookkeeping, payroll, personal and corporate tax services to a wide variety of clients. He loves the technical aspects of the work but the real enjoyment comes from helping people, whether it be a young person starting a business, members and staff of a corporation or charity or a senior planning an estate. Terry has been a volunteer in various community organizations. He and his wife Linda raised their 2 sons in New Liskeard and now love spending time with their 2 granddaughters. In his spare time, he likes to ski, golf, and relax at the family cottage.

Steven Acland | Partner | CPA, CA

Steven was born in Englehart, moved to Haileybury as a teenager with his family and has now settled in New Liskeard. He received his Honours BA in Chartered Accountancy Studies from the University of Waterloo in 1995. He earned the CA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1999 and the CPA designation in 2012 through the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. He began his career as a co-op student with Kemp Elliott & Blair in 1991 and became a partner of the firm in 2002. He and his staff provide Accounting, Assurance and Tax services for individuals, small to medium size businesses, not- for-profit organizations, and the public sector (municipalities), as well as some payroll and bookkeeping services.

Danielle Girard | Partner | CPA, CA

Danielle was born and raised in Iroquois Falls. She began her career as a co-op student with Kemp Elliott & Blair in 2004 and became a partner of the firm in 2013. She and her staff are focused on the preparation of financial statements with a Notice to Reader, Review Engagement or Audit report for small to medium size businesses, not-for-profit organizations and the public sector (municipalities). She also prepares personal and corporate tax returns and provides payroll and bookkeeping services. She completed her BA in 2007 at Brock University and went on to earn her designation of CPA CA in 2012 through the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. Danielle is excited to be serving her clientele in both official languages. She enjoys spending time at the cottage, travelling and loves enjoying the outdoors with family.

Louise Labonté | Partner | MBA, CPA, CA

Louise was born and raised in New Liskeard and joined Kemp Elliott & Blair as a Partner in April 2017. She and her staff are focused on preparation of financial statements for small businesses as well as preparation of personal tax returns, including bookkeeping services. She completed her BA in 2006 at Nipissing University and went on to complete her MBA at McMaster University in 2010. She then earned her designation of CPA CA in 2013 through the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. Louise is excited to be serving her clientèle in both official languages. In the summer, she enjoys spending time with her family lake side and in the winter, she participates in various outdoor activities and sports.

Ashley Proctor | Partner | CPA, CA

Ashley was born in Temiskaming Shores and raised in Englehart and area. She received her Honours BA with Accounting Option from Wilfrid Laurier University and earned the CA, CPA designation while working at a small firm in Guelph, Ontario. Ashley began her career as a co-op student with Kemp Elliott & Blair in 2013 and became a partner of the firm in 2024. She and her staff are focused on providing year-end reporting and consulting for not- for-profit and charitable organizations. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys music related endeavors, spending time with her dogs, and attending community events with friends and family.
